Job Summary:

The Electronic Visit Verification Specialist is responsible for the ongoing overview and maintenance of EVV data in compliance with State and Federal regulations. The EVVS plays a vital role in the confirmation of visit data elements to ensure timely and successful payroll processing. The EVVS will also support ongoing EVV education within the Care Center including new hire training and meeting with current staff to support Caregiver understanding and successful utilization. Collaborate and offer resources to Scheduling when dealing with Caregiver pay issues and EVV compliance. The EVVS is expected to be the onsite EVV expert as a resource for all Care Center personnel pertaining to all elements of the EVV system, process, and compliance mandates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Onsite EVV expert supporting assigned Care Center(s).
  • Supplying EVV training to Care Center Staff, Field Staff, and New Hires.
  • Assist users in setting up and configuring mobile applications on various smartphone platforms (iOS, Android, etc.)
  • Conduct outreach to noncompliant individuals; determine the cause of noncompliance and assist them to become compliant with State regulations
  • Supporting Business acquisitions with EVV and system roll outs.
  • Monitors and mitigates EVV System alerts, and timesheet approvals to resolution to ensure compliance is met.
  • Monitors and manages visit and other data flow from Scheduler to EVV System and back to Scheduler ensuring smooth transaction and application of proper configuration and rules.
  • Daily review and processing of all non-EVV payroll paperwork, resolving issues with scheduling, field employees and other management to ensure correct payment of wages.
  • Member of payroll call group receiving and triaging all calls to Payroll Department.
  • Supports Payroll Department with inquiries from employees and others regarding payroll. Research issues and communicate findings in timely.
  • Provides support with internal and external audits specializing in the extraction and explanation of EVV and non- EVV data.
  • Assists to maintain appropriate EVV compliance as defined by the organization, state, and/or payor contracts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of office administration experience required.
  • Knowledge with EVV platforms in home care setting, preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, ability to organize work and to follow through.
  • Ability to collaborate well across teams to accomplish a positive outcome

Work Environment:

  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • May be required to lift and move boxes, medical records, etc.
  • Subject to eye and hand strain from working on a computer.
  • Occasional travel outside the office to attend meetings etc

Pay Range: The hiring range for this position is $21-$23/Hourly. Various factors will determine final compensation such as a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
